What Is Actually in the Renew IV

Lactated ringers, one liter

The base of the drip. A balanced crystalloid carrying sodium, potassium, calcium and chloride in ratios close to blood plasma, with lactate the liver converts to bicarbonate. It rehydrates more completely than drinking because it goes straight into the bloodstream, and the balanced salts match sweat losses more closely than plain saline.

Vitamin C at a wellness dose

A water-soluble antioxidant and a required cofactor for collagen synthesis and for normal immune cell function. The dose here is a supportive, everyday level meant to keep tissue levels topped up. It is not the 4,000 mg load that the Immunity Booster is built around, and the two are not interchangeable.

Zinc

A trace mineral involved in immune cell activity, wound healing, and taste and smell. In this formula it sits alongside vitamin C on the immune side of the bag, at the same everyday level rather than a loading dose.

Magnesium

Involved in several hundred enzyme reactions, most visibly muscle relaxation, nerve conduction and sleep quality. It is the ingredient clients most often say they notice during the drip itself, as a warm, settled feeling. Anyone who trains hard, drinks a lot of coffee or lives through an Arizona summer tends to run low on it.

B-complex

B1, B2, B3, B5 and B6. Each sits at a different step of the pathway that turns food into ATP, the molecule cells actually spend as energy. Stress, alcohol, hard training and restrictive diets draw this group down first, which is why the original Myers formula was built around them.

Vitamin B12, as its own push

Given separately because it does a distinct job: red blood cell formation and the myelin sheath around nerves. Oral B12 depends on a stomach protein called intrinsic factor to be absorbed and a meaningful share of adults absorb it poorly. The IV route skips that step.

Glutathione, pushed at the end

Given separately at the end of the drip because it is not stable mixed into the bag. Glutathione is the body's own primary antioxidant, made in the liver and used up dealing with alcohol, medication, pollution and ordinary metabolic stress. Regulars tend to describe the push as the part they notice the day after.

B-complex and magnesium

The B vitamins run the machinery of energy production, and magnesium is a required cofactor at several of those same steps, including the reactions that produce and use ATP. Giving them together is the point of the formula. Either one alone leaves the pathway half supplied.

Vitamin C and glutathione

Both are antioxidants and they recycle each other: vitamin C regenerates oxidized glutathione back to its active form, which extends how long the push keeps working after the drip ends.
